Shou Koseki is a retired pro cyclist who used to be a member of the Sports Cycle Hamada Team along with the 13-year-old Shingo Kinjou.
Personality[]
While Shou has a laid-back air off the bike, he was often strict with Shingo and put a great emphasis on teaching him respect.
Skills and Techniques[]
Shou has the ability to assess a bicycle from a single glance, before laughingly pointing out the ability is fundamentally useless during a race.
Etymology[]
- The name Shou means "leader, commander, general, admiral, or, and again, soon, from now on, just about" (将).
- Shou's surname Koseki means "small" (小) (ko) and "barrier, gate" (関) (seki).
