He demonstrates being a person who likes to support others by aiding them with the information he acquired, serving for the club purposes of knowing about his opponents or even outside the club with the subjects notes. He also gets embarassed when he is praised for his actions.
Rei tends to get excited when he faces unknown elements and needs to be pushed past his limits to formulate a strategy, being this the main reason for him to join a club and practice its daily activities. He also gets excited when applying what he learnt through his studies in competitions.
Skills and Techniques[]
Rei usually applies everything he learns from cycling and other sports overall and adapts them to perform his unique cycling style. He also tends to use his wit to analyze the course and formulate strategies that dismantle the formation of his opponents and eases his victory and from his team.
One of the techniques he developed is the "Skating Dancing", inspired in the Speed Skating sport. To perform it, Rei uses the power of his hands along with his legs and pushes his bicycle while extremely tilting it to the left and right. By using his hands to tilt it with more force than the usual cycling style, he turns his rear wheel to both sides while scrapping the ground and quick accelerates. Rei implies that this dancing technique he created is faster in mountains.
Rei is also known for having a weak presence during his club activities at Hakone, so he uses it to erase his presence and perform a technique called "Stealth Rei" in which he and his teammate takes a deep breath and silently rides behind their opponents, escaping from their sight. When the opponents think they were left behind and consequently slow down their pacing, Rei quickly passes his opponents and accelerates in order to leave them behind.
