Kyoto Fushimi team kit
The Kyoto Fushimi High Bicycle Racing Club, also known as "Kyofushi", is situated in the Fushimi ward in the southern part of the Kyoto city, capital of the Kyoto Prefecture, Japan and represents the Kyoto Fushimi High School. They serve as one of the main teams participating of the Inter High competitions of the story.
Infrastructure & Goods[]
The team club room is located in a building around the school's area with two floors. The building has many doors, despite the members frequently using the one in the far right with the club's name sign and in the walls between the doors there are bicycles hanging. Inside the club there are lockers for each member and shelves, aswell as seats where the members can sit or lay.
Around the club there are many bicycles and frames hanging in big hooks and other bicycle equipments. The club main bicycle brand is the Bridgestone Anchor RFX8, that are according to the club's pages in the Inter High pamphlet a brand good at adopting a riding geometry that is more comfortable than other racing bikes and it is especially used for long rides and hill climbs. Kyoto Fushimi members are majorly seem riding Anchor bicycles in their training and races.
Activities & Routine[]
Since Akira Midousuzi joined the club and started to control the team, Kyoto Fushimi started to follow a strict training routine. The members of the club train like soldiers and are named in numbers, which follow the orders from Akira according to their numbering. They also practice a series of "Phases" that are a variety of moves applied in the races depending of the situation the club faces.
They also tend to make their members ride at the front to test their stamina and strength until they retire and someone else replaces. They also don't stop at convenience stores and strictly follow the training pattern created by Akira.
In long races such as the Inter High they tend to conserve energy in the first day until the end of the race, so that they can get a good placement and time advantage for the following days. Depending of the situation, they apply their tactics in order to get the victory and overwhelm their opponents to the point of even making their own members retire after tiring themselves.
Akira also created a pattern of making the club members shave their hair to a flat buzzcut in order to lessen their body weight and increase their speed during the races, including himself.
