Sprinter

A sprinter is a road bicycle cyclist or track cyclist who can finish a race very explosively by accelerating quickly to a high speed, often using the slipstream of another cyclist or group of cyclists tactically to conserve energy.^[1]

In the series, sprinters are portrayed as being fast on flat land but weak on hills and mountains. They compete for the sprinter checkpoint at the beginning of each day of the Inter High. Sprinters can function as aces and assistants.
