The Bessatsu Shōnen Champion (別冊少年チャンピオン, Bessatsu Shōnen Champion) is a monthly shōnen manga magazine published around the 10th and 12th day of the month in Japan by Akita Shoten. It contains many manga titles targeted at boys, including color spreads and news about the titles such as anime news and author comments.
As its name meaning, it serves as a separate version of the Monthly Shōnen Champion, the original monthly series of the Akita Shonen that is usually released a week before this magazine.
The Bessatsu Shonen Champion was first published in June 12, 2012[1] and already serialized a total of 29 manga titles, one of them being the Yowamushi Pedal Spare Bike series.
