The Yowamushi Pedal anime adaptation was first confirmed on December 27, 2012, along with the release of the Chapter 236. It was aired from October 8, 2013 to July 1st, 2014 with 38 total episodes.

The second season, Yowamushi Pedal: Grande Road, was first announced on May 18, 2014 at the “Le Tour De Yowapeda 2014” and was confirmed later on the Chapter 304 released 4 days later. It was aired from October 6, 2014 to March 30, 2015 with 24 total episodes.

Discotek announced on December 21, 2014 that it licensed both season one and season two for home distribution with English subtitles in North America, and released the first season on January 26, 2016.[1]

The third season, Yowamushi Pedal: New Generation, was first announced on October 6, 2015 and was confirmed later on the Chapter 372 released 9 days later[2]. It was aired from January 10, 2017 to June 27, 2017 with 25 total episodes.

The fourth season, Yowamushi Pedal: Glory Line, was first announced on July 9, 2017 at the “Le Tour De Yowapeda 2017” and was confirmed later on the Chapter 455 released 4 days later. It was aired from January 9, 2018 to June 26, 2018 with 25 total episodes.

An extra episode OVA titled Yowamushi Pedal: Special Ride was released on August 8, 2013, before the first season began airing on television. It covers an extra story included in the 24th volume of the manga along with some original scenes.

The Yowamushi Pedal Re:RIDE compilation film was shown in 10 Japanese theaters from September 19th, 2014 to October 2nd, 2014. The Blu-ray and DVD released December 17th, 2014. It is a retelling of the first season taking place at Toudou's family inn where he, Makishima, and Onoda reflect on the events.

The second compilation film, Yowamushi Pedal Re:ROAD, released June 12th, 2015, and aired in Japanese theaters until June 25th. It's Blu-ray and DVD released December 16th, 2015.

The third film and the first one with an original story drafted by Watanabe, titled Yowamushi Pedal: The Movie, was released in Japan on August 28th, 2015. It takes place after the end of the second season, after the Inter High finishes, when Sohoku, along with other prominent Inter High teams, are invited to compete in the annually "Kumamoto, Country of Fire Yamanami Race" on Kumamoto's Aso Mountain. Team Kumamoto-Daiichi participates, introducing a new character, Yoshimoto Shin, their "climber of fire." The Blu-ray and DVD for The Movie release February 17th, 2016.

Discotek announced on May 1, 2019 that it licensed both the Yowamushi Pedal Re:RIDE and Yowamushi Pedal Re:ROAD for Blu-Ray disc, which was released on July 30, 2019.

A live-action film directed by Kōichirō Miki was announced on January 17, 2020 and confirmed on the Chapter 576, released 13 days later. It was released on the August 14, 2020 and adapts part of the first year from the manga.

There are a total of fourteen Yowamushi Pedal character song CDs, each featuring two characters from the series. The CDs contain two individual character songs and one duet, except for the 8th (Makishima&Toudou) and the 11th (Teshima&Aoyagi) CDs, which contains two duet songs. A compilation album, titled Yowamushi Pedal Character Song Album, released on July 15th, 2015. It contains 24 tracks from the first eight character song CDs.
